Hello Dolls, It is time to cross our ' t' s and dot our ' i' s when it comes to having a complete and cohesive feminine wardrobe for the cooler seasons! These are my TOP 10 necessities in my fall & winter closet that every feminine lady should have. In my latest fashion video, I shared feminine fashion inspiration in my fall lookbook featured in my video, " How to dress Feminine in the Fall & Winter ". I shared my best tips on looking feminine & elegant although we're dealing with chilly and cold weather! I also shared the BEST FEMININE TRENDS for Fall & Winter 2021. The Top 10 - The feminine sweater - As I mentioned in " How to dress Feminine in the Fall & Winter ", it's so easy to achieve that chunky, lego block look in the fall and winter season due to all of the layers. Its best to fill your closet the perfect feminine style sweater to keep your feminine shape accentuated. Look for sweaters in feminine styles like peplum, puff sleeve and the ones with sweetheart necklines. - The trench coat - A trench coat is an absolute ESSENTIAL in every lady's closet. Its my go-to coat when I need to hurry out the door. It helps you achieve a polished look without much effort. Always go for a classic color, like khaki tan or black. Yet, it's also fun to include accent colors like dusty rose to add a feminine touch to any of your outfits that you wear with it. - The sweater dress - Keep the feminine silhouette while staying warm. You can go for a knee-length sweater dress and you also have the options of a midi or maxi-length sweater dress. Pair with a tights or pantyhose to keep warm on the colder days! - The blazer - Elegant and chic in all seasons. The blazer is another go-to that emulates a sartorial elegance. Depending on your needs, you can choose a lightweight blazer to throw over a thick sweater, a blazer in a sweater fabric (basically a structured cardigan, wink wink ) or you can go for the classic blazer. Each design delivers the same sophisticated look. - The fleece tights - This would be in my Winter Wardrobe SURVIVAL Kit. Fleece tights or leggings is my secret key to staying WARM in the winter season while wearing a cute skirt. You can also go for long johns too. I have fleece-lined socks, leggings and tights for 7-days a week. - The scarf - This is a given, but lets make sure we have a fashionable scarf to bring the ensemble together. I have chic and feminine silk scarves for the fall and hefty, stylish scarf for the cold winter. - The holiday dress - This is a MUST in every lady's wardrobe. Thanksgiving, Christmas, holiday parties and everything in between, they all somehow require a new holiday dress that you just don't have. Go for a basic and cute holiday dress that you can accessorize for multiple seasonal occasions. By styling and accessorizing each time, you'll be able to get a great cost-per-wear AND you'll be just fine in every picture. - The dressy boot - Thigh-high, bootie, knee-high, or mid-calf, all are welcome. Have one pair of COMFORTABLE and STYLISH boot that you can wear with majority of your pre-planned seasonal looks. Slip-ons are great, but you want to be able to rightfully use the sidewalk as a runway in your dressy boots. - The casual boot - Yes, yes, we all love a good boot, but lets not get stuck in the 7 dwarves boots for every time you leave your home. You need a dressy boot, but also a STYLISH CASUAL BOOT that is comfortable. Easy-on and easy-off is one of the functional needs. I stick to 1"-3" height in my casual boots. - The peacoat - The ultimate winter outerwear CLASSIC. Need I say more? Maintaining a Polished and Neat Home Environment Whats one of the worst things when dating? Falling in love with someone, BUT then you realize how much of a MESS they are. - You can be as pretty as a peach, but if your home is unkept, you look unkept. A messy home reflects poorly on you. A feminine woman takes care of herself and her belongings . You can't keep your appearance to look polished, but how you live is polar opposite. If you aren't good at cleaning or keeping a tidy surrounding, then RESEARCH! We have all of the information we can get in the palm of our hands. Utilize the phone, laptop or tablet you have and read up on home organization and simple ways to clean effectively. Having a Clean Home in ATTRACTIVE. Have you ever visited a guy's home and he has dirty laundry, an unclean kitchen and an unmade bed? If not, then you've probably seen it in movies or tv shows. It can be a major turn off for us women. It's even worse if you present yourself as an elegant, well-kept woman, but your home is a pig-sty. Sometimes, its not that your home is messy, its just that you have A LOT of CLUTTER. Trust me...let it go. I am a sentimental person and I often hang onto things because I think I may need them in the future. Hello Dolls, It is a New Year and oh, will it be a great one. Every year, I like to focus on getting better & better every year. Many of us would love the idea of having a upgrading in our lives this year. Sounds pretty nice to me. Yet, its more than just wishing for it, it's about making it a reality . In one of my first video uploads for 2022, I share my Top 10 Tips to Upgrading Your Life this year, next year and so on. To get the first 10 Tips, Watch It HERE ! To ensure you have an Arsenal of ways to reach your upgraded life, I'm going to share MORE tips with you here . 11. Plan Goals that are Realistic, Reasonable & Significant in Your Life. It's so easy to fall into the trap of keeping up with the Joneses, ESPECIALLY when they're showing off their Instagram-worthy life. Yet, look around you. Who are you truly competing with? The fun thing about social media, is the fact that you can unfollow, unsubscribe someone & poof! they magically disappear. Even in your real life, make sure that you focus on what's truly important. Yes, luxury items & experiences are divine, but ensure that your life of quality is in all parts of your life. Splurge here, save there, but overall focus on making & accomplishing goals that will put you in a better position in life . 12. Don't Always Depend on People to Have a Good Time with You! If you want to start living an upgrade & interesting life, you most likely want to indulge yourself in new experiences & things. Often times when it comes to events, parties, outings & traveling, we like to have a buddy there with us to enjoy the experience. I am the SAME WAY! Yet, not everyone will be as excited as you to spend money in all the same ways that you want to. People may make plans with you, then cancel. Therefore, you shouldn't be too dependent on others to have a good time. Plan times to step out of your comfort zone & do something alone . Attend that event that you've been wanting to go to in a solo fashion. Go to a coffee shop alone, go to shopping alone, perhaps dinner. Get yourself comfortable with not allowing other people's hesitation & lack of dependability hold you back from living life. BE SAFE! Having a friend along with you, is a bit of a safety net, so chose your solo adventures carefully. 13. Get a Mentor If you're more about upgrading your life, career-wise or relationship-wise, then consider finding a mentor. This could be an official mentor or an unofficial one . I've personally have had mentors in my life that happen naturally and other times to where it was planned. Either way, I was able to receive advice, guidance and tips from older, wise individuals who genuinely care about me accomplishing my goals. There is something different about having someone who is dedicated to helping you to their best abilities. Friends & families could turn into mentors. There's also the options of joining a program dedicated to assigning mentors to young individuals and professionals. Either way, give it a try and I promise you, you will learn something new and beneficial. 14. Limit Your Screen Time Social media, watching TV, or playing games, is one of our many favorite past-times. Yet, make sure you're not spending too much time obsessing over things that don't really matter. Use those outlets to become inspired, connect with others or be entertained for a portion of time, but don't make it a HUGE part of your life in an unhealthy way. Prioritize off-screen time, by starting a new hobby, checking those items off your TO-DO list, spending time with family or plan something that you've always been wanting to do. 15. Grow in Your Faith Along with your upgraded life journey, your spiritual journey is personal and significant. Getting to know God can help you realize what's truly important in life. By building a solid relationship with God, it can be revealed what goals really matter to you. Self-realization, realizing my priorities and discovering my purpose, are a few blessings that I've experienced since I found Jesus. What God has in store for you, is always greater than your own plans. It's not only about receiving blessings, but also serving God and dedicating your life to Him. Hello Dolls, As shown in my 7am Housewife Morning Routine , I love to prepare quiche for breakfast throughout the week. It makes for a quick breakfast for me & my husband for about 2 days. That helps me by shortening my morning routine. You can add in your favorite breakfast produce & meats like spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, onions, bacon, sliced ham, sliced turkey, breakfast sausage or chicken . All that & the KITCHEN SINK! (or whatever you have in the fridge!) NOTABLE TIPS to creating a water-free quiche: Sometimes if you bake quiche, it has a tendency to come out a bit watery. Its not the end all to this breakfast bake, but it's not the best end result. A watery quiche is due to moisture in the ingredients. In order to keep a water-free quiche, be sure to dry your ingredients before adding them together in the pan. In this recipe I used tomatoes & mushrooms, two ingredients that can be quite watery. Tomatoes, of course, has pulp and seeds. Salt draws out moisture from mushroom which turns into this beautiful mushroom sauce. Lovely for a pasta dish, but not so much for a quiche. As I shown in the Housewife Morning Routine, I seasoned the mushrooms with salt, garlic & thyme then baked it by itself. Baking the mushrooms alone helps dry up any moisture that would be released due to the salt. I also dried the tomatoes with a napkin to draw out the moisture. You can do the same for any other produce like for your spinach or broccoli. Be sure to pat dry or bake it first before cutting, mixing or prepping your other ingredients to save time. Here's my recipe for the Perfect Quiche! 2 r 5 eggs, large 1/2 cup of milk 1/2 tomato on vine, diced 4 mushrooms, sliced 1/2 cup of grated Medium Cheddar Cheese (or cheese of your choice) 2 teaspoons of minced garlic 2 sprigs of fresh thyme Salt, to taste Pepper, to taste You can bake quiche or cook in a skillet on the stove. The steps remain in the same order. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add sliced mushrooms into a buttered pie or baking dish. Add minced garlic, sprinkle thyme leaves and lightly salt. Bake for 5 minutes. While mushrooms are baking, crack 5 eggs in a bowl & whisk. Then add in milk & whisk together. Dice 1/2 of the tomato, then pat dry to rid tomatoes of pulp. Then lightly salt. Remove the baking dish from oven. Stir the baked mushrooms. Add in the diced tomato and egg mixture. Add salt & pepper to taste. Then sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes. Quiche top should be a light golden brown. et Voila! The perfect quiche. Slice & serve with toast, yogurt parfait or a bowl of fruit. Share your Quiche Creation with me! Happy Holidays Dolls, I share my favorite easy winter dessert recipe in my Holiday Homemaking 2022 Housewife Diary Vlog . This recipe is perfect for a quick & easy holiday bake and its a fun seasonal flavor. If you want a classic dessert, be sure to watch my Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting recipe video . Without further ado, let's bake ! CUPCAKE BATTER 2 sticks (1 Cup) Unsalted Butter, softened 2 eggs 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 2 cups Sugar 4 tablespoons Cocoa Powder 1 cup Boiling Water 1/2 cup Buttermilk 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon of salt FROSTING 2 sticks (1 Cup) Salted Butter, Softened 4 cups Powdered Sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons Peppermint extract 3 tablespoons of Heavy Cream or Milk 10 Peppermint Candies, Finely Crushed for Topping Preheat oven to 350 degrees. CUPCAKE BATTER In a small saucepan, melt 2 sticks butter, add & stir in cocoa powder. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water & let mixture boil for 20 seconds. Remove from heat & set aside. In a separate small bowl, mix together eggs, vanilla extract, buttermilk, and baking soda. In another bowl, stir together salt, sugar, and flour. Next pour the chocolate mixture into the flour mixture bowl and mix until halfway combined. Add in the egg mixture, then mix until fully combined. Line muffin tin with cupcake holders or triangle-cut parchment paper. (Or butter the muffin tin) Divide the batter evenly into the muffin pan, filling 2/3 full. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cupcakes cool. FROSTING You can beat together frosting mixture with whisk or add ingredients into a food processor & mix on high. Beat the softened butter until halfway smooth. Then add in the powdered sugar. After halfway combined, add in milk & peppermint extract. Beat until completely smooth. Use a frosting tool & swirl frosting on top of cupcakes. I used my favorite, beginner-friendly icing tool. Garnish with finely crushed peppermints & top each cupcake with a peppermint candy! et Voila! Beautiful chocolate cupcakes with peppermint frosting. Enjoy with a cup of milk (my favorite) or a warm cup of tea or hot cocoa for the chocolate lovers!

The holidays are not complete without a classic, creamy and rich red velvet cake. The cream cheese icing is the only respectable frosting for this family-favorite recipe. This is simple to make & easy to devour in one sitting! Watch my Recipe Video & Bake with Me! Let's Bake. CAKE 3 cups cake flour 2 Tablespoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups granulated sugar 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 4 Large eggs, room temperature 1 cup vegetable oil ( or canola ) 1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar liquid red food coloring CREAM CHEESE FROSTING 16 oz cream cheese, softened 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened 4 cups powdered sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract pinch of salt Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt together in a large bowl. In a separate large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until combined. Add in eggs, vanilla extract, oil and vinegar together. Mix together until combined. Add the 1/3 dry ingredients into the the wet mix, then 1/3 of the buttermilk into the wet mix. Mix together. Continue adding 1/3 of the dry mix and buttermilk into the bowl until fully combined. Add in the red food coloring. Continue to mix batter until fully combined. Pour equal amount of batter into 2 cake pans. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes on 350°F Take out of oven, then allow cakes to completely cool before frosting. Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake, if the toothpick comes out clean, without moist batter, that's a sign the cake is ready! FROSTING In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth Add in the confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until fully combined. The icing should be smooth, slightly thick and not runny. Trim and level the top and bottom of each cakes. You want it to be even & flat. Save the cake crumbles for decorations! Place 1 cake layer on the cake stand. Spread an even layer of frosting on the top side. Place the 2nd cake on top of the first cake. Apply an even and smooth layer of frosting on the top and sides. My Icing Decorating Tool: https://amzn.to/3oGfATV *affliate DECORATING: Crumble the leftover cake crumbles into smaller pieces. Gently place crumbles on the sides of the cake. You can fully cover sides or create an ombre design with the crumbles! I also placed more crumbles on the top side edges of the cake. Use a spoon to add cake crumbles to the top of the cake, the smaller, the better. Use an icing tool to decorate the top of the cake and... Voila!
