Hello Dolls, In my latest feminine fashion video , I compare and contrast the small black Lady Dior to the this gorgeous medium white Lady Dior. I've already done an in-depth review video and blog post of the small Lady Dior, so today, let's go over this darling white Lady Dior. I've always wanted a timeless and classic white handbag and I was elated to finally add this Lady Dior into my 'Capsule Forever' handbag collection. I felt Dior's feminine Cannage quilting would be the best design for such a light-colored purse. I always thought I would get a small-sized white handbag, since I would primarily wear the white handbag for more formal and dressy occasions. Yet, I'm really happy I chose it in the medium size. To experience the Lady Dior in a larger size really gives you a better insight for your next purchase. Its extra space is of course very convenient for us bloggers, bloggers and those who refuse to 'travel light'. I go over 'What Fits Inside?' of the Medium Lady Dior in the ' Small vs Medium Lady Dior video '. The Wear of White Lambskin I do notice the white lambskin shows more creases and you do have to be more careful with it. I'm much more cautious with makeup on my hands, lotions and possible marks when I'm out and about. For every light-colored handbag you have to be a bit more careful. The Care & Caution I keep my handbags stored in the dust bag. When I wear my luxury handbags out, I actually travel with the dust bag in the car. Once I get to the venue, restaurant or the shopping area, I take out my handbag to wear. I usually don't wear this handbag as a crossbody. I want to avoid color transfer from my clothing. Also, with my style and outfits, handbags usually look best held as a top-handle or in the crook of my arm. I primarily wear light-colored clothing so I don't really worry too much about color transfer. So far I haven't experienced any color-transfer. How to Style I love wearing the white lady dior with bright colored outfits, or for a 2-color look or a monochromatic look. In my Chanel-inspired Outfit lookbook , you can see how I style the white handbag with my ensembles. Is a White Lambskin Handbag worth the Investment? Owning a white designer is essential to my Forever Handbag collection. Many luxury handbag-lovers are afraid of yellowing, color-transfer, stains, scuffs & marks. This came to my mind prior to purchasing. Yet, I knew owning a white designer purse would suit the tremendous need in my Forever wardrobe. This is not my everyday handbag by any means. So I don't get everyday-wear results on this occassional-wear handbag. Therefore, I've set my expectations for the lifetime wear for this handbag. I do wear this handbag more often in the spring and summer season, but I also wear it occasionally in the fall and winter season. It is an elegant, dressy handbag and that's a fine investment for me. As long as I take care of my handbag during and after every wear and store it properly, then I see this handbag lasting for many years to come. I truly don't believe any handbag is worth over $5000. Yet, if you're willing to spurlge on one piece, I would highly recommend the Medium Lady Dior over the Small Lady Dior. Hello Dolls, I love meal prepping homemade granola to eat throughout the week. As I mentioned and showed in my Housewife Diary Vlog , you can use different spices and fruits to enjoy different flavors throughout the week. In the fall season, I used apples, cinnamon and pumpkin spice seasoning for the granola. In this Housewife Diary , I'm using an all around favorite, strawberries & blueberries. This recipe is simple & cost effective. I love saving money by making granola at home. I can measure how much sugar I want to use and I use all organic ingredients. 3 cups of of rolled oats 1/2 a cup of maple syrup 1/2 a cup of honey 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 cup of melted coconut oil or olive oil Dash of sea salt Optional 3 strawberries, chopped handful of blueberries, halved other great toppings apples, chopped dried cranberries raisins chocolate chips coconut flakes Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat maple syrup, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, oil and sea salt in a small saucepan on low heat. Once heated, add in oats and combine. Cut fruits and mix with oats. Evenly spread contents onto a parchment-lined tray. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip halfway through. et voila! Enjoy with a smoothie bowl, yogurt parfait, or with a bowl of milk. The highlight of this collection is the packaging, the millefiori motif which features a feminine floral design. Immerse yourself in the irresistible world of Miss Dior." - Dior Beauty Gladly lacking control, I collected... Dior Millefiori Cushion Powder Dior Millefiori Candle Dior Millefiori Lipstick Case Dior Millefiori - 1947 Eyeshadow Palette click to shop I introduced the beauty items I picked up in my 'Week in my Life' Autumn Housewife Diary Vlog . I also did a live demo swatch of the cushion powder and created a soft & dreamy eyeshadow look. COLLECTION REVIEW Dior Millefiori Cushion Powder click to shop The design of this cushion powder is gorgeously adorned with the millefiori floral design. The front design is an embroidered fabric while the sides and back are made of a hard plastic like the traditional Dior cushion powder . This powder is more of a fine loose glitter. Its not a setting powder like the original Dior cushion powder. I wouldn't apply this as an all-over face powder nor as a face highlighter. his is a zero pigment , all fine glitter without a base. It does have a slight white powder cast, but its not opaque as it only shows if its not evenly applied as you can see in the photo. As you see by the arm swatch, you can get an even thin layer with the included powder puff. I showed the application in my Housewife Diary Vlog . I only bought this for collector's purposes as the packaging is my main attraction. It has a slight floral scent reminiscent of the Miss Dior perfume. I do wish it was made to be a perfume powder with shimmer rather than a slightly scented fine glitter powder. Or it could've been filled with a transparent face setting powder similar to the original Dior cushion powder. I've seen others replace the powder fill with the Dior cushion powder refill. I haven't tried that yet, but I definitely will in the future. Overall the powder case is beautiful and I would recommend it if you want something pretty for your vanity. Dior Millefiori Candle click to shop This candle is darling and on the daintier side. It smells beautiful and it is quite smaller compared to traditional luxury candles. The millefiori design is the main design for this luxury candle. I plan to reuse the candle after the candle wax runs out. It's a darling statement for the vanity. Dior Millefiori Lipstick Case click to shop he limited edition lipstick case shares the same fabric and millefiori flower design. It is another beautiful collector's piece but you can actually use it to hold your Dior Addict lipstick. I do wish it came with a lipstick proctector slip case since it is a white fabric. Overall I'd recommend. Dior Millefiori - 1947 Eyeshadow Q uint click to shop This is my first Dior eyeshadow quint. Although I was tempted to buy other Dior eyeshadow palettes since their relaunch, I'm happy I waited for this perfect color story. This is the perfect romantic color story filled with berry & rosy shades. This quint is composed of dreamy, desaturated tones of cream, pink, red and purple. It makes for a great Valentine's Day palette, but it has quickly become my perfect everyday eyeshadow palette. It doesn't pull too warm nor too cool, so its quite easy to pair with my daily outfits. The quality of these palettes are up to par with the rave its been receiving from the online beauty community. The shades are pigmented, smooth and easy-to-blend. Its intuitive to create a simple, but stunning eye look. As I mentioned in the primping portion of my Housewife Diary Vlog , Dior's eyeshadow layouts are designed to create a quick & easy eyeshadow look that you don't have to think too much about. The top left, top right and middle shade, creates a day look. Then the bottom right, bottom left and middle shade, creates a night look. You can group the 3 eyeshadows on the left together to create a look & same for the 3 shadows on the right. I love that about the quint's layout. It makes putting on eyeshadow beginner-friendly and a simple process. Usually purples and reds evoke a bit of apprehension from me. I never like too bold & saturated eyeshadow looks. I think reds and purples can be a bit harder to match with day-to-day looks. Yet, both of these shades pull more neutral and not too bright nor deep. - SHADES - Pale Cream, MATTE - top left Smooth & Pigmented Shimmery Light Pink, GLITTERY SHIMMER - top right No fall out, doesn't have a base, primarily an easy-to-apply glitter shade that is also day-friendly Rich Dark Red, SATIN - middle Smooth, pigmented, soft glimmer Rosy Pink, MATTE - bottom left Smooth, pigmented Berry Purple, MATTE - bottom right Smooth, pigmented Swatched Left to Right - Pale Cream, Shimmery Light Pink, Rich Dark Red, Rosy Pink, Berry Purple I highly recommend this eyeshadow quint. Hello Dolls, It’s been my dream to have a Chanel purse for a long time now. I recall in high school having a black quilted crossbody bag from Forever21 that I dubbed my 'f-anel' bag. A cheeky moniker for my Chanel-inspired bag that I strutted down the hallways of my high school wearing. Here we are now. Before purchasing my first Chanel purse, I researched and immersed myself into the world of Chanel. It was worth the time, considering I was making a big purchase. I couldn’t be happier. This is a seasonal style from Chanel's Trendy CC handbag range. Chanel has produced several additions to its series, including the Trendy CC wallet on chain, phone holder, shoulder bag, east-west bag, and the design I own, the Trendy CC vanity bag.  Before I discovered this purse on Fashionphile , I spent months searching the internet for one in this particular shade of pink. I couldn't find this bag in this particular shade of pink at the boutique because Chanel doesn't repeat the same seasonal colors. There weren't many internet review videos, and I've never seen this bag in person. Despite my nervousness, I felt confident this was 'the one', so I purchased this bag for my birthday. I chose a unique style. I wanted to choose a bag that I felt like I would create for Chanel if I had the dream opportunity to. I have a deep love for all things pink, Barbie & vintage. So you can imagine how excited I was to see the Chanel Trendy CC Vanity Case in pink lambskin. It's a girly girl's and vintage lover's dream. I admire Chanel's 'Barbie' vanity cases from the 1990s. This is the closest design today that emulates that look. Vanity cases have a cutesy, doll-like charm that makes my heart flutter. Voila! That's what I was searching for. Just a little 90s Chanel inspiration to maybe...obsess over. . . . & back to our scheduled program... ENSEMBLES I love to wear this purse when I want to elevate my look or add a pop to a dressy ensemble. I love wearing this out for a day of shopping, or a romantic date night. It's perfect because it can fit more than the essentials, but it's compact enough to be styled in the evening. DETAILS Chanel Trendy CC Vanity Case Lambskin Leather 19s Pink features : Crossbody strap Zip closure Flat backside Dimensions QUALITY & LEATHER Since this was my first Chanel handbag, I was initially hesitant to buy a lambskin purse. I made the decision to buy it as I knew I wouldn't be using the bag frequently and I wouldn't have to worry about the lambskin leather getting worn out. This is a light-colored lambskin bag , which makes me more cautious when wearing it. Naturally, flaws are more hidden in black lambskin. Due of its lighter tone, this leather may exhibit more obvious scuffs, indentations, or color transfer. The leather is especially delicate around the trim. Unfortunately, my darling vanity case has some minor rubbing on the trim. One day, I looked, and there it was...an unexpected flaw. When I saw the rubbing, I panicked. I've finally accepted the minor flaw. Aside from the trim, the rest of the bag looks and feels excellent, with no significant indications of wear. FUNCTIONALITY This is not a purse that I would use every day. If you want your belongings to be safe and secure, this bag is a fantastic choice. This bag gives you that extra security because of its vanity-style. This would make this purse ideal for traveling or visiting busy retail districts. Nothing enters or exits without your awareness. Having said that, it's not the most convenient bag to get into due to the wrap-around zipper opening. The zipper is smooth, which is a lovely feature. I've found that using the crossbody strap makes opening the bag easier. This bag is easier to close than to open. I'm just more mindful of what items I want to hold in my hands when I'm wearing this bag. FINAL THOUGHTS - Is it worth it ? To be honest, I would have picked a different purse for my first Chanel bag if I weren't obsessed with vanity cases and the Barbie era. However, the heart wants what it wants. A classic case of falling for the bad boy. I chose LOVE. What can I say? I'm a romantic. I chose love over practicality. I'd still purchase this bag. Would I pick it first, despite all of its drawbacks? If I were being practical, the answer would be no. Yet, I was aware of the choice I was making. For me, it's the best choice. These luxury purchases aren't the most sensible things in life, so in my mind, not every purchase must be. I see my luxury handbag collection as an opportunity to create my dream collection, and this is my dream Chanel bag. Now, whether or not I recommend this bag would be a more helpful question for me answer. Yes, if you're prepared to wear and use a vanity bag. I wouldn't suggest any vanity handbags to you if they fail to function well enough for you. If you're not sure if a vanity bag will work for you, I recommend buying a low-cost vanity handbag and using it for at least a month. I would wear it to a variety of events, such as date nights, girls' nights out, grocery shopping and clothes shopping. Get a sense of how it will function and where you intend to wear it. 2024 Birthday Doll Hello Dolls, I'm typing this blog post, as I'm getting ready to publish my New in My Feminine Capsule Wardrobe video . It just doesn't feel right to post & go, when I haven't touched base with you Dolls. Where do I start? The first thing that came to me was the 'Current State of the Union' piece from the Clique book series. Did you see we're getting a continuation of that series??? OMG. The middle-school Ebony and the 2025 Ebony are both excited. So let's do it. CURRENT STATE OF UNION IN OUT Exploring your interests ( big & small) Pausing your potential Prioritizing yourself & desires Over-prioritizing other things & doubts Blossoming in your femininity Pausing your femininity journey Self-care in all ways Self-care when you feel like it I feel like I should recreate this as a quick, informal way to refocus & state my goals every month. I remember randomly writing the 'current state of the union' in my notebook in middle school. I'll cover some of these Ins & Outs in my upcoming videos as well. My YouTube Channel. I ended up taking an unplanned mini-break from YouTube. Please don't be upset when I inform you that the video I'm posting today was most likely recorded in January 2025. I somehow took a month to edit the video and another month to complete the blog post. The timeline developed as a result of a highly hectic schedule, a decision to reprioritize items in my life, and the classic procrastination technique that I seem to perfect. Moving forward? Of course, I want to post more frequently, and that is the plan. Yay! I actually have about 5 videos ready to be edited and posted. I've been brainstorming video ideas and creating a posting schedule since December 2024. My current goal is to post two videos in March. Fingers crossed for three if I have the capacity. I miss chatting with you, Dolls. Over the last year, I've had to reorganize and reprioritize my projects. I'm not going to complain because this is life, and it's beautiful. I have a lot more experiences that have made me happy, proud, and blissful. I'm excited to share these details with you, Dolls. Please know that I, like others on social media, will be sharing the highlights. The last few months have been quite hectic for me. I've experienced all of life's emotions, both highs and lows. Since the beginning of the year, I've had many chances to make mistakes, succeed in my goals, overcome regretful decisions, face mental hurdles, and discover new aspects of myself. I chose a classic neutral color, making it perfect for layering with other pieces or wearing alone. Hello Dolls, A classic dessert I enjoy preparing for social events and holiday gatherings is the delightful and indulgent peach cobbler. This crowd-pleaser is sure to impress with its sweet flavors and satisfying richness. Quick and easy to make, it's a perfect treat for any occasion. I shared this recipe in my upcoming homemaking vlog, and prior to that, I gave a sneak peek to this recipe on my Instagram and TikTok! Whether it's served as a special weekly dessert at home or as a hit at summer get-togethers, Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, or Christmas celebrations, this dish never fails to satisfy. I recommend making peach cobbler with fresh peaches. If not, I recommend using pre-sliced frozen peaches. This way you're able to dictate the cut of the peaches along with the amount of sugar & taste versus using canned diced peaches. My cobbler filling is the same one I used in my ' Southern Apple Cobbler recipe '. It's my forever favorite in my recipe box! Let's start baking! PEACHES FILLING 5 fresh peaches 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1/2 of cinnamon, optional COBBLER TOPPING 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 3/4 cup whole milk 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt Preheat the Oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9x6 baking casserole dish. Set aside. C ore, then evenly slice or dice peaches. I prefer sliced peaches, but sometimes I like to half the sliced peaches. In a medium-sized bowl, add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt. Then fold in sliced peaches until evenly coated. The sugar will cause the juices from the peaches will emerge. Add the peach filling into the buttered baking dish. In a separate medium-sized bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk together. Then add in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Pour the cobbler topping on top of the peach filling. Bake in oven for 40-45 minutes until top is golden brown. Watch my 2024 Summer Zara Try-On Haul BASIC KNIT CROP TOP Pink | 4192/012 $29.99 - on sale $17.99 Size: Small SHOP This lovely pink ribbed knit tank top is an ideal choice. I bought it in a size small, and it fits me so well that I don't need to wear a bra with it. It's a simple top to put on and wear during the warmer months, making it one of my favorite purchases. Additionally, there is a coordinating turn-lock cardigan available. Of course I'm purchasing the set and I'm also planning to get this top in the vibrant red color. SATIN EFFECT MIDI SKIRT Mid-pink | 8338/537 Size: Medium $ 39.90 SHOP I am absolutely thrilled with this skirt - it's hands down one of the best buys I've made this year! I went for a size medium and it's just perfect. The waistband doesn't have much stretch, but the fabric is so soft and flowy. It sits beautifully at my mid-rise and has a slightly loose fit around the waist, but I love how it looks overall! I'm thinking about purchasing this in the white or gray color as well. SHIRT STYLE HALTER TOP & LOW-RISE SKORT PASTEL PINK | 2796/777 - top CHALK PINK | 3067/407 - bottom $39.90, $45.90 Sizes: Large SHOP: SHIRT STYLE HALTER TOP LOW-RISE SKORT This light pink zip-up halter top is a nod to iconic characters like Charlie’s Angels, Totally Spies, and Beyoncé in Goldmember, bringing a touch of glamour to my wardrobe dreams. The fabric used in this top is the same as the one in the halter dress, halter top, and pink maxi dress, adding a cohesive and stylish element in my collection. The halter neck portion was too long for me. To fix that, I just used a safety pin and made a simple pleat to adjust the length the way I like it. The collar perfectly hides the pin. I plan to further alter the fit by shortening the collar length by 1 1/2 inches for a comfortable fit. Initially, I intended to buy just the halter top, but once I tried it on, I realized I also wanted to buy the matching bottoms. This is skort is such a unique addition to my wardrobe. With a hidden side zipper, this skirt combines a mini skirt with playful shorts underneath. I bought it in a Large size, but the waist is a bit loose for me. For the perfect fit, I would need to take it in by approximately 1.5 inches. This set exudes style and sophistication, making it a must-have for any lady with a penchant for a cool, retro-inspired look. I wholeheartedly recommend it! INTERLOCK CROP TOP PINK | 5039/466 Size: Large $22.99 SHOP The bright pink color of this top is stunning. I adore its vivid hue. The top features lovely seams and cuts that enhance the bodice. However, a notable downside is the pilling under the arm area, which occurred after just one wear. This raises concerns about the top's durability. While I am fond of the color, I can see myself eventually only wearing this when I'm lounging at home. With that being said, I would pass on this top. FITTED HALTER TOP PINK | 4661/007 Size: Large $ 39.90 SHOP This is undeniably one of my favorite purchases! While the perfect fit eluded me, the structured bodice of this halter top beautifully enhances the body. The sherbet grapefruit pink color pops gorgeously against my skin tone. Although the halter neck section is a tad long and the bodice slightly oversized, it doesn't necessitate alterations. However, a slight adjustment would undoubtedly elevate its already stunning appearance. GOLD BUTTON KNIT MINI DRESS PINK | 3471/018 $49.90 SHOP I eagerly anticipated buying the pink button knit dress, but my excitement waned when I faced challenges finding the best size. Despite trying both large and extra-large sizes, neither fit properly. The XL size was too loose overall. There were noticeable gaps around the chest area, which is my pet-peeve. I wear a size 34F, so my bust size is naturally larger. Even the Large size had similar issues with the button gaps. The root of the problem lies in the button placement, requiring additional fabric to eliminate the gaps. This is a construction issue that wasn't designed the best in my opinion. My recommendation is to refrain from purchasing this dress unless you secure the perfect fit or are open to making alterations. FITTED HIGH NECK DRESS TAUPE BROWN | 2180/309 Size: Large $49.90 SHOP The halter dress in a delightful Milk Tea color is as irresistible as its appearance. It complements the body beautifully with the same fabric used in the pink maxi dress and zip-up halter top. I've been drawn to the halter style for the last two summers. I opted for a size Large in this dress, which fits me slightly snugly. I've been working on slimming down and toning up, aiming to lose 2 inches around my waist. Once I achieve this goal, I'll be able to comfortably wear this charming milk tea dress (as long as I resist too many milk teas). I highly recommend this dress, but remember to try it on beforehand for the perfect fit. FITTED MIDI DRESS FUSCHIA |  2289/707 Size: Extra-Large $49.90 SHOP A long pink dress has been on my summer wishlist for some time now. The design of this garment makes it a versatile option for both casual outings and date nights during the summer. The fabric is beautifully structured, ensuring a flattering fit if you choose the correct size. The large size was too tight for me, as I couldn't zip it up. On the other hand, the XL size is a bit loose at the shoulders and bodice. I plan to adjust the straps and take in the waistline by an inch on each side. It may seem like a lot of extra work for a $50 dress, but I can't resist the appeal of this fun pink dress with its sturdy fabric. Once I achieve the perfect fit, I believe this dress will become my summer wardrobe staple. I would recommend this piece if you manage to find the right size. That being said, my conclusion from this clothing haul is that when considering buying anything from Zara, it's best to try it on in-store first and experiment with different sizes to determine the right fit. I often find myself between sizes at Zara, but most of the items I bought were successful with minor adjustments. I appreciated the feel of the casual fabrics, as well as the vibrant colors.
