Hello Dolls, As I'm fulfilling my New Years resolution of eating healthier, I decided to make homemade salad dressing every week. This is my quick & easy recipe as I continue to search & create more delicious dressings. I noticed every store-bought Italian dressing taste a little different and I've never found a 'favorite'. By making homemade dressing, you're able to tweak the recipe to your liking whether you like it to be sweeter, tangier or finding your perfect in between. I prepared this lovely salad topping in my New Years Housewife Diary Vlog. Watch to see how I prepare & pair this salad dressing with my FAVORITE salad. Heres my Italian Dressing Recipe: Base 3/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar 2 Tbsp Honey 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard 1 1/2 Lemon Juice Seasonings 1 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Dried Parsley 1/2 tsp Onion Powder 1/4 tsp Crushed Pepper Flakes 1. In a measuring cup or a small bowl, add in the base ingredients. 2. Next, add in the seasonings. Adjust to taste. 3. Pour into salad dressing container et voila! Hello Dolls, As shown in my 7am Housewife Morning Routine, I love to prepare quiche for breakfast throughout the week. It makes for a quick breakfast for me & my husband for about 2 days. That helps me by shortening my morning routine. You can add in your favorite breakfast produce & meats like spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, onions, bacon, sliced ham, sliced turkey, breakfast sausage or chicken. All that & the KITCHEN SINK! (or whatever you have in the fridge!) NOTABLE TIPS to creating a water-free quiche: Sometimes if you bake quiche, it has a tendency to come out a bit watery. Its not the end all to this breakfast bake, but it's not the best end result. A watery quiche is due to moisture in the ingredients. In order to keep a water-free quiche, be sure to dry your ingredients before adding them together in the pan. In this recipe I used tomatoes & mushrooms, two ingredients that can be quite watery. Tomatoes, of course, has pulp and seeds. Salt draws out moisture from mushroom which turns into this beautiful mushroom sauce. Lovely for a pasta dish, but not so much for a quiche. As I shown in the Housewife Morning Routine, I seasoned the mushrooms with salt, garlic & thyme then baked it by itself. Baking the mushrooms alone helps dry up any moisture that would be released due to the salt. I also dried the tomatoes with a napkin to draw out the moisture. You can do the same for any other produce like for your spinach or broccoli. Be sure to pat dry or bake it first before cutting, mixing or prepping your other ingredients to save time. Here's my recipe for the Perfect Quiche! 2 r 5 eggs, large 1/2 cup of milk 1/2 tomato on vine, diced 4 mushrooms, sliced 1/2 cup of grated Medium Cheddar Cheese (or cheese of your choice) 2 teaspoons of minced garlic 2 sprigs of fresh thyme Salt, to taste Pepper, to taste You can bake quiche or cook in a skillet on the stove. The steps remain in the same order. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add sliced mushrooms into a buttered pie or baking dish. Add minced garlic, sprinkle thyme leaves and lightly salt. Bake for 5 minutes. While mushrooms are baking, crack 5 eggs in a bowl & whisk. Then add in milk & whisk together. Dice 1/2 of the tomato, then pat dry to rid tomatoes of pulp. Then lightly salt. Remove the baking dish from oven. Stir the baked mushrooms. Add in the diced tomato and egg mixture. Add salt & pepper to taste. Then sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes. Quiche top should be a light golden brown. et Voila! The perfect quiche. Slice & serve with toast, yogurt parfait or a bowl of fruit. Share your Quiche Creation with me! Happy Holidays Dolls, I share my favorite easy winter dessert recipe in my Holiday Homemaking 2022 Housewife Diary Vlog. This recipe is perfect for a quick & easy holiday bake and its a fun seasonal flavor. If you want a classic dessert, be sure to watch my Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting recipe video. Without further ado, let's bake! CUPCAKE BATTER 2 sticks (1 Cup) Unsalted Butter, softened 2 eggs 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 2 cups Sugar 4 tablespoons Cocoa Powder 1 cup Boiling Water 1/2 cup Buttermilk 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon of salt FROSTING 2 sticks (1 Cup) Salted Butter, Softened 4 cups Powdered Sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons Peppermint extract 3 tablespoons of Heavy Cream or Milk 10 Peppermint Candies, Finely Crushed for Topping Preheat oven to 350 degrees. CUPCAKE BATTER In a small saucepan, melt 2 sticks butter, add & stir in cocoa powder. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water & let mixture boil for 20 seconds. Remove from heat & set aside. In a separate small bowl, mix together eggs, vanilla extract, buttermilk, and baking soda. In another bowl, stir together salt, sugar, and flour. Next pour the chocolate mixture into the flour mixture bowl and mix until halfway combined. Add in the egg mixture, then mix until fully combined. Line muffin tin with cupcake holders or triangle-cut parchment paper. (Or butter the muffin tin) Divide the batter evenly into the muffin pan, filling 2/3 full. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cupcakes cool. FROSTING You can beat together frosting mixture with whisk or add ingredients into a food processor & mix on high. Beat the softened butter until halfway smooth. Then add in the powdered sugar. After halfway combined, add in milk & peppermint extract. Beat until completely smooth. Use a frosting tool & swirl frosting on top of cupcakes. I used my favorite, beginner-friendly icing tool. Garnish with finely crushed peppermints & top each cupcake with a peppermint candy! et Voila! Beautiful chocolate cupcakes with peppermint frosting. Enjoy with a cup of milk (my favorite) or a warm cup of tea or hot cocoa for the chocolate lovers!

Hello Dolls, I love meal prepping homemade granola to eat throughout the week. As I mentioned and showed in my Housewife Diary Vlog, you can use different spices and fruits to enjoy different flavors throughout the week. In the fall season, I used apples, cinnamon and pumpkin spice seasoning for the granola. In this Housewife Diary, I'm using an all around favorite, strawberries & blueberries. This recipe is simple & cost effective. I love saving money by making granola at home. I can measure how much sugar I want to use and I use all organic ingredients. 3 cups of of rolled oats 1/2 a cup of maple syrup 1/2 a cup of honey 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 cup of melted coconut oil or olive oil Dash of sea salt Optional 3 strawberries, chopped handful of blueberries, halved other great toppings apples, chopped dried cranberries raisins chocolate chips coconut flakes Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat maple syrup, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, oil and sea salt in a small saucepan on low heat. Once heated, add in oats and combine. Cut fruits and mix with oats. Evenly spread contents onto a parchment-lined tray. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip halfway through. et voila! Enjoy with a smoothie bowl, yogurt parfait, or with a bowl of milk. Dior Millefiori Cushion Powder Dior Millefiori Candle Dior Millefiori Lipstick Case Dior Millefiori - 1947 Eyeshadow Palette click to shop I introduced the beauty items I picked up in my 'Week in my Life' Autumn Housewife Diary Vlog. I also did a live demo swatch of the cushion powder and created a soft & dreamy eyeshadow look. COLLECTION REVIEW Dior Millefiori Cushion Powder click to shop The design of this cushion powder is gorgeously adorned with the millefiori floral design. The front design is an embroidered fabric while the sides and back are made of a hard plastic like the traditional Dior cushion powder. This powder is more of a fine loose glitter. Its not a setting powder like the original Dior cushion powder. I wouldn't apply this as an all-over face powder nor as a face highlighter. his is a zero pigment, all fine glitter without a base. It does have a slight white powder cast, but its not opaque as it only shows if its not evenly applied as you can see in the photo. As you see by the arm swatch, you can get an even thin layer with the included powder puff. I showed the application in my Housewife Diary Vlog. I only bought this for collector's purposes as the packaging is my main attraction. It has a slight floral scent reminiscent of the Miss Dior perfume. I do wish it was made to be a perfume powder with shimmer rather than a slightly scented fine glitter powder. Or it could've been filled with a transparent face setting powder similar to the original Dior cushion powder. I've seen others replace the powder fill with the Dior cushion powder refill. I haven't tried that yet, but I definitely will in the future. Overall the powder case is beautiful and I would recommend it if you want something pretty for your vanity. Dior Millefiori Candle click to shop This candle is darling and on the daintier side. It smells beautiful and it is quite smaller compared to traditional luxury candles. The millefiori design is the main design for this luxury candle. I plan to reuse the candle after the candle wax runs out. It's a darling statement for the vanity. Dior Millefiori Lipstick Case click to shop he limited edition lipstick case shares the same fabric and millefiori flower design. It is another beautiful collector's piece but you can actually use it to hold your Dior Addict lipstick. I do wish it came with a lipstick proctector slip case since it is a white fabric. Overall I'd recommend. Dior Millefiori - 1947 Eyeshadow Quint click to shop This is my first Dior eyeshadow quint. Although I was tempted to buy other Dior eyeshadow palettes since their relaunch, I'm happy I waited for this perfect color story. This is the perfect romantic color story filled with berry & rosy shades. This quint is composed of dreamy, desaturated tones of cream, pink, red and purple. It makes for a great Valentine's Day palette, but it has quickly become my perfect everyday eyeshadow palette. It doesn't pull too warm nor too cool, so its quite easy to pair with my daily outfits. The quality of these palettes are up to par with the rave its been receiving from the online beauty community. The shades are pigmented, smooth and easy-to-blend. Its intuitive to create a simple, but stunning eye look. As I mentioned in the primping portion of my Housewife Diary Vlog, Dior's eyeshadow layouts are designed to create a quick & easy eyeshadow look that you don't have to think too much about. The top left, top right and middle shade, creates a day look. Then the bottom right, bottom left and middle shade, creates a night look. You can group the 3 eyeshadows on the left together to create a look & same for the 3 shadows on the right. I love that about the quint's layout. It makes putting on eyeshadow beginner-friendly and a simple process. Usually purples and reds evoke a bit of apprehension from me. I never like too bold & saturated eyeshadow looks. I think reds and purples can be a bit harder to match with day-to-day looks. Yet, both of these shades pull more neutral and not too bright nor deep. - SHADES - Pale Cream, MATTE - top left Smooth & Pigmented Shimmery Light Pink, GLITTERY SHIMMER - top right No fall out, doesn't have a base, primarily an easy-to-apply glitter shade that is also day-friendly Rich Dark Red, SATIN - middle Smooth, pigmented, soft glimmer Rosy Pink, MATTE - bottom left Smooth, pigmented Berry Purple, MATTE - bottom right Smooth, pigmented Swatched Left to Right - Pale Cream, Shimmery Light Pink, Rich Dark Red, Rosy Pink, Berry Purple I highly recommend this eyeshadow quint. Hello Dolls, I've been feeling like I've discovered a whole new world since perfecting my morning makeup routine within 5 minutes. As a housewife, I'm guilty of having my glamorous 1950s bombshell housewife days AND...my days to wear I don't lift a finger in any attempt to get ready. Those contrasting days are usually dependent on the lengthiness of my To-Do list and my unpredicatable motivation. I developed an unwelcoming tendency of not getting 'dolled up' on my content editing days and my more intensive cleaning days. Overtime, I realized I was feeling extremely sluggish on those days. There is a spark of motivation and confidence when I get fully get ready in the morning. I realized that my morning primping and pampering was a vital part of my everyday self-care. Even if I lack motivation or time to do a 15-minute routine, I should try to come up with a realistic schedule for my lazy or busy days. I decided to challenge myself to create a morning makeup routine to where I could apply minimal makeup, but get an effectively stunning look. So what's stopping me from doing both? Consistently being a jaw-dropping doll of a housewife all while completing my To-Do list with ease every single day. I share my perfected 5-minute Housewife Makeup Routine in my latest video. Choose 3 makeup steps that are vital in your final look. By choosing your top 3 makeup steps, you're prioritizing the ones that are most important to you. It should be the biggest necessities that conquer your main concerns or concentrates on your favorite features. Even if you can't finish your full makeup routine, as long as you have these 3 steps completed, your end result should still look polished to your taste. These vital 3 makeup steps should be completed first. When I used to do my makeup, my 3 vital makeup steps would be to apply strip lashes, put on concealer & powder and lastly apply lip gloss. Now, as I shown in my 5-minute housewife makeup video, my 3 vital steps have changed slightly overtime. The concealer helps brighten my dark under-eye circles and blemishes, which helps me look more awake & polished. Filling in my eyebrows helps frame my face and compliments my eyes. Blush adds color and vibrancy to my complexion. Now I do my lip combo lastly or on-the-go. I have shortened my routine tremendously by getting eyelash extensions and they make a world of difference for me! 2. Group together your Everyday Makeup Staples As you've seen countless times in my Housewife Diary vlogs, I display all of my daily makeup on my vanity. Consider doing the same or separating your daily makeup products in your makeup bag. Simplifying your routine allows you to focus on what steps are most important to get done. Hence tip #1 3. Separate your daily makeup brushes. Choose your most essential makeup brushes and group them to the side for easy access. Rummaging through your entire brush collection or searching around for the 'right one', slows down your process and overall costs you more time. As you can tell with tip #2 and #3, simple organization makes the biggest difference. Proper placement and easy access allows for a smoother application process. 4. Minimize the One-hit wonders, Choose Multi-Use Makeup Brushes. Primarily, I use synthetic brushes for my base makeup. I use the same synthetic brush for my concealer & under-eye powder. Also, I use the same Chikohodu goat hair brush for my blush & bronzer. This saves time rather than looking around for different brushes & switching back and forth between makeup brushes. Simply rounding up the multi-use makeup tools & gathering your best ones, optimizes your routine. 5. Don't strive for Hollywood Glamour every single day. As much as I love my full-face soft glam look, its not practical for every day. The natural look is always in and its timeless. This daily 5-min look can ALSO be impactful by blush color and/or lip color. 6. Don't strive for perfection! Practically, we all have imperfections. And that's okay. Just focus on complimenting & enhancing the features you're able to. Eyebrows are sisters & not twins, so don't obsess. If you have a blemish, I promise you it's not as earth-shattering as you think! 7. Some steps can be done on-the-go. I noticed when I'm really on the go, I can choose certain makeup steps to complete later. For me, I can always toss my lip liner & lipstick in my purse. You may be able to apply your blush compact later or maybe your bronzer compact. Prioritize your top 3 makeup steps first. Then choose your next steps based on how much concentration or technic you need to apply it. 8. Practice makes Perfect My makeup skills have vastly improved over the past years. One thing I know is that practice makes perfect. I've learned over the years about which makeup brushes work best for me & my favorite type of daily makeup products. Try practicing your preferred makeup then seeing how long it takes you to finish. After a few times, compress your routine down to the vital steps and time yourself. Getting your makeup routine down to 10 minutes is a great first goal. 9. A Lady Plans A routine is ideal, so it's important to be intentional and implement it into your schedule. Start practicing your routine on the weekends and let it lead into your new week. Creating a morning routine is essential to every feminine elegant lady. It's basically a grand shopping holiday for us here in America. Dolls, I've seen some darling deals that is worth taking a look at.
