- What NOT to do in RELATIONSHIPS for Feminine, High Value Ladies
To: Dolls From: Ebony Nikita Okeke For: Successful Relationships Hello Dolls, Let's save ourselves the most amount of heartaches and headaches we can. One of the most beautiful things in life are relationships. Us as feminine, high value ladies want a successful, healthy relationship that could blossom into marriage. Yet, these small things could deter men away from continuing a relationship with you. They could also result in being a HUGE disadvantage to you in relationships. These things are not feminine, a big 'turn off' and something you should look out for when you're dating. In my latest video, " Ladies STOP doing this: What NOT to do in Relationships ", I share with you Dolls the main things you should avoid. I also explain and elaborate on the reasonings why you shouldn't do such things. Be sure to watch it for more value and detail. What NOT to do in RELATIONSHIPS: Tip #1 Play the 'WIFEY' role without the 'WIFE' Title I see this so often. Excited and loving girlfriends who assume the wifey role, but don't receive the wife title. We have to understand there are layers and privileges' in a relationship. Those wonderful and admirable things that a wife does, is because she's a wife. She treats her man that way because that 'man' is her HUSBAND. The Bible calls wives to submit to their husband. I don't see a verse where it says that about girlfriends. Allow your boyfriend to earn those privileges with you. Its like living in modesty. You don't show it all off. When a man becomes your husband, he has the privilege of seeing your body the way no one else has. Through that, men gain respect for you and they truly view it as a privilege that no one else has. Allow something left to be desired. Don't give it all away to him and leave nothing to be excited for once you're married. Playing the 'wifey' role comes in all different forms. It could be 100% of the time submitting to your boyfriend as if he's your husband. It could be 'shacking up' or moving in with your boyfriend before you're married. It could be giving into lustful ways before marriage. Either way, its a girlfriend giving a boyfriend the privileges that are normally reserved for a husband. "How is it a disadvantage if I enjoy it? I love living with my boyfriend, I love sleeping with him in bed, I love being called 'wifey' and playing 'wifey'." Just like sin, those things come with a consequence. You're setting yourself up to be taken advantage of. Although your boyfriend could treat you well and he's a good man, he's also greatly benefiting from you giving him everything a married man is supposed to receive. This could lead to a lack of respect, ending the puppy-love stage and a potential issue with commitment to name a few. How many men would rush to get married if they're already getting what a married man is getting? As I stated in the video , 'Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free?'. STORY TIME: The 'Wifey' role-playing girlfriend of 2 years I had a friend, let's name her Gina, and she moved to a small town and met a guy , let's call him Stephen. They both began dating, going to different restaurants and enjoyed each other's company. Gina and Stephen made it official as boyfriend and girlfriend. Every other night, they would go to each other's house and have dinner there. He started off cooking dinner for her and then they would watch a movie. This went on every other day of the week. Gina slowly started helping Stephen cook dinner and clean up afterwards at his home. Sometimes Gina would 'sleep over' Stephen's house. Stephen met Gina's family and Gina met Stephen's friends. They continued their nightly routine of Gina coming over for dinner, helping cook and clean and then 'sleeping over'. One night, Gina didn't clean up Stephen's kitchen after dinner and this started an argument. They discussed moving to a different state and moving in together. They spoke about marriage and kids sometimes, too. Gina never met Stephen's mom and Stephen never told his mom about Gina. This really bothered Gina and they had multiple arguments about this. They didn't exactly resolve the issue, but they moved on from the topic and continued their relationship. Stephen wanted to move out of the state and take on a new job. Since they spoke about moving out of state and moving in together, this excited Gina. Gina brought it up that she was looking at new jobs in the state that Stephen wanted to move to. They had an argument and Stephen explained that he didn't see a future with her after 2 years of dating. He said he didn't feel the excitement anymore. Gina felt mislead since they spoke about marriage, kids, moving in together in the past. Although Gina and Stephen didn't 'shack up' together in the same apartment, the culture of their relationship was like a husband and wife. They still slept together and they played house every other day of the week. Gina thought she was playing her role as a good girlfriend. Stephen mislead her. He might've been truthful about his original views of marriage with her. Him getting a full-course meal of the marriage life with her every other day could've contributed to his lost of excitement for their future. There wasn't much to look forward to with her since he already had it every other night. Gina played the wifey role for 2 years while hoping she would eventually become his wife. How often do we hear stories like this? How often does this happen? Too often. This relationship culture is not sustainable, fair or pure for us ladies. Us feminine, high value women should follow the traditional way of relationships that turn into marriages. Tip #2 Don't Engage in Petty & Insignificant Arguments The 'old bickering married couple' is only cute in TV shows and movies. They are usually more funny than cute. It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman. - Proverbs 21:19 Men look out for women who seem to be argumentative, never happy and the bickering type. If he’s looking for a long-term relationship and a potential wife, no matter how beautiful and extraordinary you are, he will run away. No one wants to live with someone who is always starting an argument. No one wants that added stress. No matter how comfortable you may get in a relationship, never fall into the contentious woman hole. Before engaging in an argument, ask yourself if the topic will still be relevant in the next week or month or year. Is this topic really worth an argument? Or is this something I can ignore or move on from? Also, not every problem needs a therapy session. Its good to talk about your feelings and talk things out. Yet, it can be very draining to constantly participate in an unnecessary lecture. Some arguments could make your relationship stronger or it could wear you down. Have you ever had a small argument that was resolved, but then the next time you see your boyfriend, it feels different. The environment around your boyfriend feels off, like they're acting funny or they're not talking so much or they may seem closed off. Although you resolved the issue, for him it may have been a draining experience. His feelings may have changed and that may lead to a break up. It didn't take a big argument for you and your boyfriend to break up. Instead it took a multiple SMALL arguments that broke the camel's back. If you find yourself not feeling like yourself within a relationship, that should raise a red flag. You deserve to be in a healthy relationship where your blood pressure isn’t raised every day. You should feel safe and not the need to defend yourself from your boyfriend. Every relationship has its ups and downs and every one has their seasons. It is still very important to consider if the relationship is a healthy route for you. Is the relationship more of a burden? TIP #3 Don't Settle You shouldn't settle with any aspect in your life and that includes your relationship. Not every relationship is an extraordinary K-drama, Telenovela, or Nicholas Sparks' book. Yet, you shouldn't settle for less just because the relationship you're in is convenient or comfortable. There are truly so many fish in the sea and we shouldn't settle because we finally caught one. You are truly single until you're married. This doesn't mean go out and cheat, but until you've made that covenant with God and your husband, you are free to explore. STORY TIME: Your Local Convenient Boyfriend I had a friend, let's name her Samantha and she dated a guy named Talon. They both lived in a small town and there wasn't much to do in that town. Yet they would have a nice time traveling to different cities and exploring new things and they took part in pre-martial sex regularly. They dated for months now and Talon got a job offer in a different state. Talon told Samantha if the job offer follows through, he would break up with her, but if he doesn't get the job he would stay together with her. This broke Samantha's heart. Yet, Samantha heard from her mom, that she is young and she shouldn't take things too seriously. She was considering Stephen's relationship offer. She asked me for advice and I told her that it seems like Stephen is trying to take advantage of her. Yet if she chose to continue dating him, then she would have to withhold some of her feelings. Although they've been dating for over a year now and she has strong feelings for him, she would have to view the relationship as a casual dating situation for her own good. Samantha considered the options and lastly decided that she would accept Stephen's relationship offer. She said since she lived in the small town, she doesn't have any friends and he is the only person she's spent time with since she's moved there. She also said that she is young and she agreed with her mom on not taking it seriously. I cautioned her that she may be putting herself in the position to get her feelings hurt. They continued dating for another year and Talon almost broke up with her two more times because of the potential job offers he got. Throughout that time, Samantha's feelings only grew stronger and each time she was more and more hurt. Yet, she didn't want to be lonely in the small town and her feelings turned into love, so she didn't want to break up. After the third break up attempt, Samantha finally ended the relationship after 2 and a half years. She felt undervalued, used and heartbroken. My friend Samantha stayed with Talon for 2 1/2 years, knowing the consequences. She was comfortable and had the convenience of the relationship that she didn't want to let go. Deep down inside, she knew she couldn't withhold her feelings in order portray a care-free love partner. In the end, Samantha ended up hurting herself for 2 and a half years. There is always something else out there. Don't let the small-town love convenience, 'I can be feeling-less' and 'I'm comfortable here' stigma sell yourself short. 4. DON'T try to CHANGE a Man I speak more of this topic in the video. The main takeaway is: A man will change WHEN he wants to. A man will change for WHO he wants to. Don't waste time trying to force a man to put effort and attention into a relationship that he doesn't value. Be comfortable knowing that he wasn't willing to change for you, because he was NOT the one for you. Be comforted knowing that there is someone out there who is the right one for you. He will dedicate the proper time, change and attention for you, your relationship and your happiness. Let Yahweh show you when he's the right one. What is a lesson you've learned in your past relationships? Have you done any of these mistakes in relationships? Don't be shy to share, we've all made mistakes and through those mistakes have turned into knowledge and lifelong lessons. Comment below! Let's Chat, Dolls. Always with Love, Ebony Nikita Okeke
- Healing through Hobbies: Recipe Therapy
To: Dolls From: Ebony Nikita Okeke For: Housewife Diary Entry Hello Dolls, As many of you know, I am currently dealing with an unexpected loss within my family. I appreciate the support you’ve shown me in the comment section of my community tab on YouTube. I’ve been taking things day by day. Blessed by God, I’ve been able to spend time with my family. I had the perfect day with my father and grandmother. Also, my husband comforts me every day which has really helped me. From my Community Tab on YouTube, “Hello Dolls, for this week there won’t be another video or Live Tea Time & Chit Chat. Unfortunately, I lost my grandfather. He was an elegant, admirable and smart man. We shared the same birthday and had a special connection. We were very alike. Ive learned so much from him. I was hoping to make more memories with him and to have him meet his future great grandchildren. I’m taking this time for myself & with my family. I’m trying to stay busy but also trying to heal from this loss ✝️💜 Reading all of your sweet comments under my videos causes me to smile during this time. Thank you for always taking the time to share & connect with me. Thank you for understanding Dolls. Perhaps I may upload next week, I’m going to take things day by day” When I’m alone and to myself, I’ve been trying to keep busy. Cooking and baking has been a stress reliever for me. It’s also a chance for me to have fun. Cooking gives yourself a chance to block out the world and concentrate on your recipe. Baking does the same for me. I’ve channeled into my inner chef these past couple of days. The best part is the finish result. It’s when you’re able to plate your dish, sit down and enjoy. Then you try your first bite of your creation and there’s that moment of peace. I've been gravitating to healthy recipes to improve my eating lifestyle. When it comes to baking, there’s a give and take for healthy desserts. When the pandemic began, I started baking cookies and other desserts every week. It was a nice, sweet treat to snack on throughout the week. Unfortunately for me, I have a bigger sweet tooth than my husband AND I’m at home more than usual. I learned my lesson and now I’m geared towards baking healthier desserts. Now some recipes are simply sweet treats and can’t really be made as a healthy version like chocolate croissants. So I am picking and choosing each one every other week. I've gotten requests for separate cooking and baking videos on my YouTube channel. I would love to share my favorite recipes with you Dolls. I am introducing a recipe section on my blog and I will be sure to share recipes with you on my YouTube channel. As for dinners, I’ve been excited to simply cook. Whether it’s the usual recipes or new ones, I’ve fallen back in love with it. I’ve always enjoyed cooking, but now it’s more of a cooking therapy session for me. For any of you who are going through a similar situation like me, I would suggest you to find a hobby at home or out of the house that you could enjoy. Spending time with my loved ones have really helped me a lot too. Every day may invoke a different emotion. Through cooking and baking, I’m able to exercise my creativity which is a stress reliever for me. This has been a mini therapy session for my nerves and mind. Thank you Dolls once again for the constant support and love you’ve sent my way. When the time is right, I’ll post a new video on YouTube. It may be next week because I miss chatting with you Dolls. I want to make sure I’m giving myself a chance to properly heal from this event. I look forward to sharing recipes with you in the future. Hope to see you soon, Ebony Nikita Okeke

- Feminine Beauty Favorites of the Month
Hello Dolls, In this past month I have added new products to my beauty favorites! It’s so important that we are taking care of ourselves. Primping and pampering is a must. These products have become apart of my everyday pampering routine. On my channel, I’ve already uploaded my said review on each product! {We’re almost to 300 subscribers! YAYYY} WATCH NOW: https://youtu.be/SAOybV5Jo3g MY CURRENT FAVORITES 1. Estée Lauder Double Wear Mineral Rich Powder 3.0 If I could describe this product with 2 phrases it would be: FULL COVERAGE & FLAWLESS FINISH Use with a makeup brush for a lighter coverage or use with the compact sponge for a full coverage effect. I love the pigmentation of this powder. I use this as a brightening powder under my eyes. Like any finishing powder, you should find a compatible concealer with this powder. The first concealer I used with this product was the Fenty Beauty Pro Filter concealer. I loved that concealer until I realized how easily it broke up by the end of the day. This powder was not very forgiving when I paired it with the Fenty concealer. Yet, with my other concealers it worked out beautifully. I think they're sold out of this exact powder! I’m sad because I am in love with this one, but luckily I have a lot left. Nonetheless, here is a similar Estée Lauder pigmented powder that may still get the job done. Click the pic down below! Estée Lauder Perfecting Loose Powder 2. Growth Nail Polish It’s those small details that matter. One of those details are NAILS! Although I featured a different brand in my episode, this is my beloved and favorite nail growth polish! This line has multiple polishes for your nail needs. They have a solution for weak nails, soft and peeling, hard and brittle and more. I personally used this one, which I bought from Sally Beauty. I was AMAZED because my nails grew within a week. This can be applied under OR over your nail polish! I personally love to use it as a top coat. 3. Peach and Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum The one and the only! Glass skin serum. I’ve used this product for over a year now and I still love it. The amount of product given in the bottle is plenty to last you over a year, like me. I adore the results you get from using this your first week and every day. It smooths your skin’s texture beautifully and it calms and diminishes any blemish of mine. I favor using this before makeup. This is my daily skincare MUST-HAVE. BONUS: Peach & Lily is CLEAN BEAUTY! 4. Silky Skin Custard For your body, I love using this product on my face and hair as a moisturizer and on my body. The texture is similar to raw African Shea butter once you rub it in. I love the versatility of this product and all of the great benefits. Simple, clean, organic and vegan ingredients make this product one of my favorites. It is important that we know what we are putting on our body. I can trust this product to work. I personally haven’t tracked my results, but I may begin to this month! Any beauty favorites you’d like to share? Comment down below! I love trying new products. Let’s Chat, Doll. Wishing you peace and good health, Ebony Nikita
- Monthly Spotlights: May Favorites!
Hello Dolls! Welcome to my new segment called the monthly spotlight. This is a chance for me to share with you dolls, about the great products or resumes that I have been enjoying this past month. This may involve hair care, skin care, fashion, home decor, routines, and anything else you can think of lol. If you enjoyed my March Favorites that I premiered on my YouTube channel then you will LOVE this one even more! I also premiered this MAY FAVORITES on my YouTube channel, so feel free to watch my review on all of these products! HAIRCARE TGIN HONEY MIRACLE HAIR MASK UltaBeauty • $17.99 As I mentioned in this latest episode, I have used this deep conditioner for about TWO YEARS NOW. {Plz Don’t Cringe} I alternated with other hair masks depending on my hair needs at that time. Overall, if your hair needs hydration and a bit of strengthening this one is a great purchase. Given the naturally derived ingredients, the texture and the results, the price point is fair. The smell of it is heavenly . I can’t completely pinpoint it, but it smells like a combination of sweet honey, shea butter & love . After shampooing, I would apply the product in my hair and promptly cover it with a deep conditioning cap. I would leave this in my hair for about 10 minutes . My hair would instantly feel moisturize, smooth and soft. It would also make detangling my hair a lot easier. We all know detangling is a process, so anything that helps it is a plus. EN TIP: I’ve found it easier & quicker to detangle your hair in the shower while lightly washing away the conditioner! LIFESTYLE A Good Cup of Tea + a Good Verse Along with It Proverbs Tea-for-One Teapot Set $22.48 Bible Verse Mug Set $24.37 A good cup of tea is something that I crave every single day. Within my Caribbean-traditional household, growing up my mother valued a good cup of tea. It was the perfect way to finish off a nice big dinner and to start a new day. That tradition has carried on into my lifestyle. So having the perfect casual tea cup and saucer set is something that I value. This is a must-have for any feminine lady’s household. It’s important that we’re taking time to spend with God every single day. So throughout the day when I’m having my perfect cup of tea, it is so nice to glance down and see a piece of scripture. This would also be a great gift idea! SKINCARE NEW SKINCARE TRY: Yeouth Hyaluronic Acid Serum 1oz : $14.95 2oz : $21.95 YEOUTH skincare gifted me with this about a month and a half ago. They requested my honest review on this pure 100% hyaluronic acid serum. I was very excited to try this new skin care product simply because I’ve never tried this type of serum before. Now I’ve seen multiple YouTube channel is talk about hyaluronic acid within their skin care routine. Yet I never got around to trying it. I haven’t had a moisture issues in a long time and if I ever do, it’s very minimal and it’s usually fixed with a massage of raw African Shea butter. Yet I was still very excited to try out a type of serum that has been raved about for a while now. The texture of the serum is very silky and smooth. It feels really nice going on to the face and then it dries down to a slightly tacky texture. they drive down texture is not anything that I would run from simply because it’s very minimal and you’re supposed to follow any hyaluronic acid serum with a good moisturizer. SKIN TYPE: NORMAL (At times it can be dry/ lack moisture) So I use this for about a month and followed it up with my raw African Shea butter and continued on with my normal skin care routine. After a while of using it I did notice a small build up of texture/bumps on the lower half of my face. Honestly that frightened me because I am very big about smooth, pore-less and texture-free skin. SIDE NOTE: My skin tends to only agree with products with naturally derived ingredients. I’m not too sure how old the hyaluronic acid fits into that equation, but I have used AHAs, BHAs and lactic acid before. I have gone through a horrible skin purge before due to using new skin care products and I am not willing to suffer through that once again. This was the only difference in my skin care routine, therefore my only fair deduction I can make is that the hyaluronic acid serum caused my skin to break out in irritation. I will say prior to the skin care irritation, I did enjoy layering the hyaluronic acid with the raw African Shea butter whenever my skin did feel a bit dehydrated. Afterwards, I stopped using the serum in fear of another skin purge. As I mentioned in my episode, I passed it along to my husband since he is really getting into skin care now LOL. Maybe my skin and the serum are not agreeing with each other. So maybe it will work better for him. After about three weeks I will update you Dolls and let you know how if he has been enjoying it. MAKEUP DIOR POWDER FOUNDATION DIOR FOREVER EXTREME CONTROL $54 PLEASE STOP SLEEPING on POWDER FOUNDATIONS!!! It is literally the perfect everyday, quick and easy makeup. If you Dolls seen my easy lazy-day feminine makeup tutorial and blog post, you’ll see that I love minimal effort makeup products. This product is now added into my everyday makeup routine. Overall I love the way I get to adjust my desired coverage that I need depending on the day. I simply love powder foundation products because of the minimal effort you have to put in to getting your desired results. I love the fact that this product creates a seamless and flawless base. Watch my full review on this product! Overall I love the way I get to adjust my desired coverage that I need depending on the day. Watch my full review on this product! NEW ROUTINE I Choose to Care for My Hands, CONSTANTLY. Who else buys something for good self-care intentions, but then never uses it? This was a habit that I had with this French lavender scented hand lotion by Sienna Hills. Its funny because whenever I would go to a hotel, a friends house, or an upscale restaurant, I would see hand lotion beside the restroom sink for after washing your hands. I would automatically be delighted by the thoughtfulness. I would always happily apply it to my hands after washing them. Unfortunately, whenever I placed fancy hand lotion within my bathroom at home, I literally NEVER used it. After having it for about six months and only using it less than three times, I decided to place it beside the kitchen sink in hopes that I would gravitate to it after washing dishes. Yet, I literally never used it when it was perched beside my kitchen sink. I finally dragged the hand lotion to my vanity and voilà! Every time I walk by or sit at my vanity, I am gravitated to applying the French lavender hand lotion to my hands. Not only is it good to moisturize and take care of your hands especially because it is the one of the first ways to clock a woman’s age But when you choose a hand lotion with a delightful scent it can instantly refresh you. Since the smell of my hand lotion is lavender, it instantly gives me a calming and relaxing feeling. Honestly, it just reminds me to breathe and helps me recenter myself throughout the day. I’m so happy I finally found the perfect place for my lotion which reminds me to refresh myself and to take care of myself. I guess you can say it’s the little things. What are one of your favorite monthly spotlights that I mentioned? What was one of your personal favorites within the month of May? Comment down below & Let’s Chat Doll . - Feminine Monthly Spotlights for June!
Hello Dolls! These days and months seem to just roll by. Nonetheless I do have a couple of goodies that I’ve enjoyed in the month of June! • FASHION • My purchase of this is long overdue. I’ve been in need of comfortable and cozy house slippers to keep my feet warm against the hardwood floors. I’m not much of a sock-wearer unless it’s during the autumn or winter season. So I’ve been “planning” on picking up a cute pair of slippers to do me good until those seasons commence. I‘m so indecisive when it comes to shopping sometimes, which leads me to turning down at least 5 different opportunities to buy the item I need until I find “THE ONE”. While I casually online shopping, I stumbled upon these adorable soft pink satin bow house slippers. Immediately I knew I found the one! • MAKEUP • Colourpop x Disney launched their ‘Disney Designer Masquerade’ makeup last autumn. As a Disney Princess lover I was instantly compelled to all 3 of their makeup lines. I do have their first eyeshadow palette from the “Disney Designer” collection, but I didn’t get a chance to purchase ANYTHING from their latest Masquerade makeup line. As months passed and it came in and out of stock, I finally purchased their blush for Princess Tiana! (She’s my favorite + Cinderella + Ariel) This blush is a smooth formula, but the best thing about it is the color! It’s my perfect neutral & natural blush. I seen in their promo video that they created the products that would compliment the Disney Princess and her needs the best. That, THEY DID. I know this blush would compliment Princess Tiana’s skin complexion and EVERY black girl’s complexion. It’s not too bright, not too neutral, its the perfect shade with the perfect undertone. • HOME • As some of you may know, my husband and I have nested in a new home. Glory to Yahweh. One thing my husband and I bond over is decorating! There are so many fun and meaningful decorating elements that you can add to your home. One day, my husband brought back some brewery boxes with the idea that we could put them to use somehow. I decided to use them as storage for our everyday needs! I used one of them as my personal storage for my planner, notepad, sketchbook, etc. It’s easy access for me and it’s tucked away in a proper home so I won’t ever misplace anything. These brewery boxes definitely add a bit of charm and character to our storage unit! It’s also a great way to repurpose an item! • DIARY • Due to these terrifying events that us as black people have been dealing with for centuries, it has opened my eyes to be more intentional with my money! Before I would be happy to support black-owned businesses by purchasing from them by the word of mouth or whenever I was introduced. Yet, I wasn't disciplined enough, nor was I fully invested in truly making an effort to support my people. Now I have researched, and continuing to, find more black-owned businesses to support. It’s mind-boggling to realize how LITTLE we own in comparison. Yet, they are plenty of black-owned businesses who are needing us as a community to step up and support each other. Now I’ve committed to ONLY buying from black-owned restaurants. I’m still trying to find a solid and convenient black-owned grocery store or farmers market. New Motto: If it’s not black-owned, then I might as well eat at home. I’m also looking to support more black-owned fashion brands and starting to sew more myself. I save money and get EXACTLY what I want when I create my own clothing. What has been one of your June Monthly Favorites? If you have any black-owned business recommendations then let me know! - Feminine August Favorites: Monthly Spotlights
Hello Dolls, August has blown by and prepped me for the upcoming autumn season. As I'm getting ready to plan out my autumn home decor, I reflect on my August Favorites. FASHION Rachel Zoe Satin Skirt Soft and lustrous, the silk and satin clothing have dominated social media on all networks from your favorite fashion YouTuber to IG fashionistas and to the aesthetic lovers on Pinterest. At first I was not too fond of this comeback being worn on the outside of clothing contrary to its original use. Yet, time after time, I fell in love. This is one of my favorite pieces for that luxury 90s aesthetic. The midi-length satin skirt is the perfect option for us lady-like and modest women. The longer length is a sophisticated silhouette that we needed back. The soft fabric falls effortlessly against the body. I love this look so much that I bought 2. One in powder blue and one in a vibrant hot pink. Yet, I'm still not satisfied with just that. In my search history, you'll find me scavenging for midi- length satin dresses to add in my wardrobe.. BEAUTY Charlotte Tilbury's 'SUPERSTAR LIPS' Darling! Have you tried the iconic Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick in the Superstar lip formula? Ok, ok, who else LOVES Charlotte's catch phrase? The world of Pillow Talk is desirable for most of us feminine women and Pillow Talk Charlotte's most-loved product line. This was the first product I've tried from Charlotte Tilbury and I am more than satisfied. The color is near to my natural lip color and the formula is perfect for an opaque glossy lipstick. Day after day, I'm constantly reaching for this lipstick. I will be posting a full review on the most-talked about products from Charlotte Tilbury, so stay tuned! LIFESTYLE: FLOWER DRYING If you seen my Housewife Diaries Vlog, then you seen me tending to my new and old floral arrangements. For my dear flowers that are aging, I decided to dry them in order to preserve their beauty. A great method is flower-drying. You can hang them, frame them or place them in a display. I chose to display them in my washroom to help brighten the space. This will be an ongoing relaxing hobby for me. ANKLE WEIGHTS In my attempt and practice to be more active, I decided to invest in ankle weights to hold me down to that goal. Day-to-day, I put on the ankle weights and proceed with my daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and so on. With all of the movement throughout the day, the ankle weights are a great way to get an extra workout in. SPOTLIGHT of the MONTH: THE COTTAGECORE AESTHETIC The Romantic and feminine country-inspired time-swept fashion which celebrates the traditional way of life. This aesthetic was made for the vintage romance novel-reading, traditional and feminine woman such as myself. I am in love with period dress of fashion, the traditional way of life and this style has fulfilled my vintage-soul needs. This has been flooding Instagram and thanks to my old middle school friend, Lily, she introduced this trend to me. Although it felt like August ran past me without a greeting, it was a great month filled with new favorites and interests. What was one of your favorites in the month of August? Comment below. I throw this on when I need to feel chic on a casual day, but still feel warm and cozy. The emblem on the right-hand side is charming and classic. The prep school style is in trend for this fall season so this cardigan achieves that feel. 2. - Feminine & Elegant Loungewear + Best Stores to Shop
TO: Dolls FROM: Ebony Nikita Okeke FOR: Everyday Elegant Lounging Hello Dolls, To be an elegant and sophisticated woman, you have to be intentional about achieving that within your everyday life. This means, you need to incorporate elegance, not only when you are socializing, but also when you are living at home. Therefore, having a feminine and elegant loungewear wardrobe is a necessity for all sophisticated ladies. On My YouTube Channel , I shared some of my favorite feminine and elegant ensembles for lounging. You'll see my Elegant & Feminine Loungewear Lookbook and I also want to share some of my TOP PICKS for feminine and elegant loungewear. FEMININE ELEGANCE: LOUNGEWEAR Feminine Elegance The first ensemble I’m presenting is a staple in every elegant lady’s wardrobe, a luxurious robe. Before I was married and lived at home, my mother draped herself with beautiful robes and I’ve always admired them. That’s why I gravitate towards robes as my everyday loungewear. Usually in my housewife vlogs you’ll see me dressed in a robe from my collection. Underneath my robe from Nordstrom, I wear a necessity not only for fellow housewives and homemakers, but for all feminine ladies, which is a housedress. Steer away from wearing pajamas, leggings & athleisure wear. Wearing a house dress gives you more of a feminine and elegant look. Lounging Love Usually when I long to get lost in one of my favorite romance novels, I want to feel warm, snug and still look polished. This next ensemble is the perfect loungewear for those dreamy & relaxing days. It is a flowy soft dress with a matching long sleeve button up. I harmonized this ensemble with a charming pair of knee high socks, a classic white ribbon to sit pretty on my ponytail and my adorable pair of pearl hoop earrings. It’s so important for loungewear to feel comfortable. This dress is beautifully soft and movable. I’m in love with my knee high socks that keep me warm and this button-up is perfect for those cozy and calm days. Pillow Talk This next ensemble, silky to the touch, is what I find myself lounging in quite often. It is a simple but classic slip dress. A silk satin dress beautifully holds the title of graceful and sophisticated loungewear. It emulates an effortless elegance for those endless lounging days. Today, I decided to only charm my cheeks with a bit of blush. As I’ve mentioned before, Makeup isn’t necessary for the feminine and elegant look. So a simple swipe of blush on the apples of my cheeks will suffice for those long-lasting lounging days. I dressed my ponytail with a lovely light pink bow and draped my neck with a precious pearl necklace. This makes for a darling and delicate ensemble. MY FANCIES for FEMININE & ELEGANT LOUNGEWEAR Here are my CURRENT LOVES & FANCIES for Feminine & Elegant Loungewear! You'll most likely see me dressed in a couple of these items in my upcoming Housewife Vlog , because these ensembles are DARLING! ‘ Flounce Kimono Robe ’ V ictoriaSecret.com " Tube Knit Sweater " Zara.com To shop my TOP PICKS for FEMININE & ELEGANT LOUNGEWEAR, SCREENSHOT & search the image on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app for easy access & to help support my content! ‘ Textured Satin Slip Midi Dress ’ VictoriaSecret.com These clothing items, have helped me feel polished and beautiful when I’m lounging at home. CHARTLOTTE TILBURY Bejeweled Eyes to Hypnotize Holiday 2020 Eyeshadow Palette Argued as CT's greatest value eyeshadow product, this new 12-pan palette looks easy on the eyes. I am in love with the color scheme. If you're unsure about the shades, I would recommend watching reviews. I have noticed a couple of the shades have a shift in tone once applied. CHARTLOTTE TILBURY Walk-of-No-Shame Eyeliner I usually only go for a liquid black liner, but this shade of eyeliner would be a great addition to any liner-lover! VICTORIA BECKHAM Posh Lipstick This product seems perfectly posh for those quick primping days. Pigmented and silky lipstick products have been trending this year. I love the effortlessness of a comfortable lipstick product. BURBERRY Essentials Glow Palette This is on my wish list for sure! I am in love with the face palette concept. I love the convivence of having blush, bronzer/contour and highlighter all in one palette. These formulations looks stunning and the shades are simply beautiful to say the least.
